Didier Pharma GmbH, founded in 2014, is developing the branches of A. Didier KG and Pharmafrid of the pharmacist Fritz Didier sen. as well as Didier Pharma GmbH and former Alternamed GmbH of the pharmacist Fritz Didier jun. from Gifhorn. In good tradition, medicines, effective formulations, formulations and catchy brand names have been developed here for generations, which are still behind well-known branded products in the field of pharmacy and health.

HISTORY

The historical roots of Didier Pharma GmbH go back to the foundation of the first pharmacy in Gifhorn by the splendid privilege of King George I of England to pharmacist David Ataler (see also Gifhorn Local History Museum, date of September 5, 1714). The pharmacist Fritz Didier sen founded Didier Pharma from the castle pharmacy. from the Didier laboratory in 1945 as Pharmafrid A. Didier KG, which was managed by the management of pharmacist Fritz Didier jun. was converted into a family GmbH. With the transfer of shares to pharmacist Fritz Didier jun. the new operational structure has been initiated, which still exists today (since November 30, 1971).

The manufacturing program included pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutritional supplements that were sold both in-house and under license. These products were also exported, for example the anti-rheumatic drug RH 50 in Belgium at the company Bomo, in Austria at the licensee Kwizda, via Hormosan GmbH with the products Digitoxin and Digoxin Didier. Furthermore, the widespread Biofrid cosmetic series with the eye tonic Biofrid via opticians and the bestselling garlic pearls Didier, which were later incorporated into the Kwai product.

With the continuation of Didier Pharma GmbH in Hövelhof in early 2014, the traditional focus on health-related products, primarily food supplements, has been preserved.
